Geocache Description:

the cache is an ammo box hidden on the top of a steep hill in the spenceville wildlife area. park in the triangle at N 39 11.224 W 121 18.091 and hike SW up the hill. be very cautious, as there is poison oak in the area.

tanky is a veteran cacher who has found more than 3000 hides in the past three years. he has placed more than 50 caches which are some of the most difficult, and yet enjoyable caches one can find. tanky often puts out a cache at the sacramento and the oroville geocaching events, which really adds to the enjoyment of these get-togethers. tanky is an indefatigable hiker, he always has a smile on his face, and displays a delightfully dry sense of humor. he serves as a role model for all of us newcomers to the game. as the old beer commerical said, "tanky, this one's for you!"
