Jeremy's Pond Traditional Cache
Lactodorum: Hi, this looks suspiciously like the cache has gone. Could the owner please undertake a maintenance visit to check if it's there or not. In the meantime I'm archiving it but I'll happily unarchive it if/when it's found assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Nice walk around the lake, taking in fantastic scenery around this 1970's converted gravel pit. The walk is mostly on a track and is on even ground but can get muddy.
Walk around Beedles Lake - the lake belongs to and is managed by the Golf Club.
Parking is nice and easy in the golf club car park - N52 42.926', W001 03.818'. Permission has been granted by the golf club management to use their car park and for people to walk around the lake, so do not be put off by the sign 'Private Property - Anglers only'. The lake grounds are open from 7am to 9pm.
Highly used by Anglers, the lake can get busy at peak fishing seasons, especially during competitions. The golf club grounds also back on to the lake at various points so please respect the players and please keep dogs off the course.
The lake walk is great for wildlife spotting and after a nice walk, if you fancy some refreshment, we recommend a visit to the club house where a seat on the patio outside overlooks the lake. (Although to respect club house rules, wellies and dogs must be left in the car!)
