Vertighost: It has been brought to my attention that this cache is in need of owner maintenance. Unfortunately, the cache owner has passed away and there are no existing provisions for cache maintenance These circumstances also preclude any chance that the cache can be adopted. I am, therefore, archiving this geocache.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Elmont, Texas! You're looking for a smallish, screw-top plastic container. There's some thorns in your way but you can avoid most of them with clever a route.

Here you have the old, traditional Elmont Church and across the highway is the new, modern church. I like the old one better, but that's just me.

There's a Mexican restaurant just up the street. I haven't been there, but I've added it to my list of places to try.

Bring a pen to sign the log.
