If you are a movie watcher you might be aware that snakes have
been seen both on a train and on a plane this year. Now, they are
ready to be found in a box in the woods.
This is a themed cache so please trade items that are snake
related. Ophidiophobes, you may want to think about bringing more
than one snake chaser to help you handle this cache. The occupants
of the cache are likely to get very annoyed if the end of their
tails are left hanging out of the box when you close it, so please
be careful.
To access this cache, you should start by following the paved
trail that connects Gemini Springs Park to Lake Monroe Park.
Approximately half way between the two parks you will leave the
paved trail at N 28 51.083, W 81 18.870 where you should see the
start of a hiking trail. The cache is approximately three thirds of
a mile from this point.
It is a wide, grassy trail most of the way to the cache with
some minor bushwhacking towards the end. Tree cover made it
difficult to get accurate coordinates but this is not a difficult
hide. Access to this cache will likely be difficult if there is any
flooding in the area.
