Geocache Description:

This cache is located near a picnic field at Luskville Falls in the Pontiac region of West Quebec. It has been placed just off a popular horseback riding trail on the edge of Gatineau Park.

This is a Letterbox Hybrid cache containing a stamp and ink pad, logbook, and pencil. Please familiarize yourself with the concept of letterboxing by clicking on the letter icon above before visiting. In the winter months you are advised to bring your own ink pad as the one in the cache will most likely be frozen. To record your visit, leave your mark in the log book with your own personal stamp if you have one. If you wish you may also leave your mark with a thumbprint, sticker, or simply an entry in the log book. Then use the stamp in the container to make a mark in your own logbook or on the back of your hand. The "box" can only be opened from one side. Simply lift the top and remove the container from of its hiding place. Please make sure to replace it exactly as you found it. Please use stealth in your search, as this area can be quite busy at times! Good Luck!!!

This is a also a great location for a picnic especially in the spring and fall of the year. There is a challenging hiking trail that follows along the falls up the escarpment to an old fire tower on the Ridge Road. If you plan to hike up this trail, please come prepared especially with good footwear. Somewhere along this trail is a conventional letterbox. Please visit letterboxing.org before you begin your search. Enjoy your visit up the Pontiac!

This one is for Kelsey!!
