Geocache Description:

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (www.rspb.org.uk) is a British charity dedicated to the preservation of habitat. They have 150 reserves throughout the United Kingdom, covering more than 240, 000 acres.

While traveling in England and Scotland, Team Bluelamb was able to geocache in many lovely woodlands and marshes, all purchased and maintained by the R.S.P.B. They encourage visitors to the reserves, including geocachers. As a fundraising tool the R.S.P.B. sells bird pins every year, and we were able to purchase many of the 2004 series. I’ve placed them in this cache to share with geocachers everywhere.

At the posted co-ordinates you will find two numbers. Multiply the upper number by two for the distance in meters to the cache, multiply the lower number by three to get the true north bearing to the cache. The cache is very bird friendly!

Good hunting everyone.
