A look around the small hamlet of Moulin, followed by a stroll through the woods. The above co-ords are meaningless.
Above Pitlochry is the small pretty and old hamlet of Moulin.=, with a nice white painted hotel, and a small brewery.
The Earl of Atholl granted Moulin Church to Dunfermline Abbey in 1180. In 1511 Moulin became a burgh of barony.
Moulin Arms dates from 1695.
There is parking in Moulin by the church.

Outside the church grounds is an old Tree.
The Joug tree was where offenders were shackled if found guilty by the local court. Jougs were attatched to the tree by a chain. There is a plaque on the red seat where the following dates are to be found
