Cache is hidden along the RCA trails
in Rocky Point. Property is managed by the NYS DEC. Terrain
has mild elevation changes and the hike could be very long or
very short depending on your approach. Cache should be fairly
easy to find.
I hid this after finding a couple of
WS caches. I knew where I wanted to go but didn't quit end up
there. Instead I found this very cool location. More modern
ruins of the old RCA site. I parked on Whiskey Rd to grab the
WS caches and then hiked about 3 miles northeast and hid 2
caches myself. If you can get to this one before the snow
melts it will be much easier to find the cache. Cache is a
small/medium cylinder with screw lid. In it is some of the
usual, smaller swag. Should be fairly easy to find but just
in case the hint will be a big help.
