A river runs through it.
Long before highways and the transcontinental railway, native tribes used this route through the mountains by following eagles flying to Shuswap Lake.
This is a great opportunity for a whole family outing with the pets - a nice walk on a beautiful beach. During winter, spring & early summer you can venture along the shore for miles. At high water, it may be necessary to have a boat to reach the cache area. The cache itself is on high ground.
You can park at the entrance to Silver Sands Nature Park
N50* 50.480' W118* 59.926'. Then just head out onto the beach and follow your instrument.
