Tararua Turtle: All good things come to an end!

The latest report from DNF cacher Kennythekiwi leads me to believe that this one has been muggled [again!].

As I'm now no longer a Palmerston North resident, and making a check visit is likely to be a matter of months away, I'll sadly say farewell to this one. It was my first cache hide. It's a great area to visit and I've enjoyed the journey with this one.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

An easy flat stroll from the carpark on a walkway that can loop about a bit. Graded pathways, foot bridges, stream, bush and parkland are features of this area. This one would take you no more than 20 minutes round trip.

You may choose to park at: S 40 22.856 E 175 36.985, however there are a number of options for accessing this park area.

There are often walkers, joggers, bike riders, dog strollers and other assorted muggles using this park. Especially at weekends the place can be quite busy. So, please be sure to exercise stealth and discretion when searching for and rehiding the cache. The cache has been muggled twice in two different sites.

This is version 3 and a different site again (as at 1 March 2009). I'm hoping that in the new location it will be easier for cachers to make the find out of plain view.

Regular sized (1l) Sistema clip lock camo painted plastic container with a green 'Official Geocache' sticker on its bottom.

Has log book, pencil and sharpener (as permament features) and some room for small trades, coins and bugs.
