Located in the Park and Pool at the Rt. 547 exit from the Double A Highway near Alexandria.
Cache is in a military surplus DeCon container. Please place only small items such as keychains inside.
The cache name refers to a Camp that was located nearby before the Double A Highway came to the area. The Camp was a gathering place for the local boys to play cards and party. This valley was settled by German Immigrants. It is said that it reminded them of the Old Country. Many historic old stone buildings are located in the area. If you have the time you might drive north to Silver Grove and take in the sights.
