Geocache Description:

Picked up idea from geocacher fishiam's "My Einstein Puzzle Cache" during a recent trip to Seattle. Thought we could use one of these in Northern Virginia. Posted coordinates will leave you wet and confused. Solve the puzzle below to get the coordinates for the cache. Then you only "might" get wet and confused.

At a recent NoVAGO CITO event, Flyingmoose, BAJA Clan, Pyronorm, Donbert and 2Wheel’in were discussing new caches they had placed in another vain attempt to stump Gaiter Man. As they were discussing their new caches, they discovered that none of the caches shared any common characteristics! The caches had been placed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the previous week. The sizes included nano, micro, small, regular and large. The difficulties ranged from one star to five star. The cache types were traditional, letterbox, multi, puzzle, and Project Ape (love those icons!) Incredibly enough, they had also each placed a Geocoin as a FTF prize! These coins represented Monaco, West Virginia, Texas, Missouri, and Norway. They decided to use this interesting situation to come up with a new “mystery” cache. The trick would be to collect information about all five of these caches in order to solve the puzzle to find the hidden cache. As they secretly discussed their new caches and the super secret mystery cache, an ever attentive zygote2k was sitting at a nearby table furiously taking notes in hopes of getting a first to find. This is what he heard:
  • 2Wheel’in had placed a small cache
  • Pyronorm had put a West Virginia geocoin in his cache.
  • Donbert’s cache has a difficulty rating of one star.
  • The regular sized cache was placed the day before the micro.
  • The regular cache has a difficulty rating of two stars.
  • The traditional cache has a Texas geocoin in it.
  • The nano cache is also a puzzle cache.
  • The cache placed on Wed has a difficulty rating of three stars.
  • Flyingmoose placed his cache on Monday.
  • The Project Ape cache and the cache with a Monaco geocoin were placed one day apart.
  • The cache with the Norway geocoin and the puzzle cache were placed one day apart.
  • The cache with a difficulty rating of four stars is also a multi-cache.
  • BAJA Clan placed a letterbox.
  • Flyingmoose’s cache and the large cache were placed one day apart.
  • The Project Ape cache and the cache with a difficulty rating of 5 stars were placed one day apart.
Helpful table and plenty of white space for "thinking":
