A hike of 1.5 miles on marked trails to the site from the parking lot with just over 200 feet of elevation gain
This cache has been allocated the permit number: TWO5-3 from the Palisades Interstate Park Commission.
The Stony Brook Trail, which follows a substantial brook, is pleasant at all times of the year. In winter the ice forms delightful lacy formations on the rocks in the stream, and in the summer the canopy offers a cool walk.
