Blackfriars Bridge Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GeoSteve: Time to let this one go. I don't plan on replacing it for a while, so no sense in preventing others from possibly placing a cache in this great area of the Thames Valley Trail. Cheers.

Geocache Description:

Located a couple hundred metres north of Blackfriars Bridge in downtown London.

First built in 1831 and then rebuilt with iron added in 1875, Blackfriars bridge is a historical London landmark. It is one of the only wooden planked bridges still in use today in London. The bridge spans the Thames river as it meanders through the city. Scenic pathways follow along the river and that is where you will find the cache. It's a beautiful walk in all seasons.
