Geocache Description:

Located in The Otari - Wiltons Bush Native Botanic Garden and Forest Reserve just off Wilton Rd. Start at car park S41 16.050 E174 45.505.

This 7 hectare remnant of orginal podocarp / northern rata forest was protected by Job Wilton in 1860 and became known locally as 'Wiltons Bush'. Please keep to trails in the bush areas - either way on the Circular Walk will lead you to the cache but other trails can be used and link up with the Circular Walk as well. Picnic tables, drinking water, toilets and pay-to-use BBQ are all available close to cache so take a picnic and make a day of it, it's well worth a look around . The cache is a camouflaged magnetic pill bottle.
