Geocache Description:

Keyring swapping only in this cache.

This cache can be approached by bridle way from either north or south. We were intrigued by the names Tothill and Toot Hill and decided to investigate them. We left this cache so others could do likewise. The remains of the motte and bailey castle is visible at Toot Hill but is not accessible.

If approaching from Tothill it is possible to drive south along the lane and leave your car at N53 18.582 E000 07.699
If approaching from the south it will be necessary to leave your car at Caythorpe.

The path may be muddy at certain times of year, so come prepared.

The cache is in a small plastic box and is only intended for the exchange of key rings.

There are lots of quiet lanes in the area and plenty of footpaths to investigate. Enjoy your visit.
