THE CACHE HAS MOVED ITSELF TO N53 16.604 E000 05.529 (don't ask us how!) IT SEEMS A SAFE PLACE TO LEAVE IT AND AS CACHERS MANAGED TO FIND IT THERE, WE HAVE NOT MOVED IT BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL LOCATION. THE HINT HAS BEEN CHANGED.
This cache is placed between Belleau (pronounced Bellow) and Swaby
If approaching from Belleau, park at N 53 16.751, E 000 05.959
If approaching from Swaby park at N53 16.645, E 000 04.848 at the corner of Valley Lane and Long Hedge Lane. (It is NOT possible to park any closer) Walk up Valley Lane to the bridleway even if it seems that you are going through someone’s garden (which you are!)
The Swaby end of the path goes through the Swaby Valley and the whole length of the walk is very enjoyable. The ground may be rather muddy at certain times of year, so come prepared.
The cache is in a plastic container and holds the usual bits and pieces.
There are lots of country lanes and paths to investigate in the area so have a good time and don’t forget the many hostelries around!
