Geocache Description:

Hajós is more or less an ordinary village. But about 2-3 km from the village almost an interesting arrangment of buildings can be found.
Almost every house is a wine-cellar! Approximately 1200(!) smaller of larger cellars create a cellar-village.

The wine industry probably began in the early 1700s when krauts brought their knowledge. Since then the wine became the main agricultural product in the area.

Take a walk around and visit some restaurants, pubs. If you see some open basement, don't hesitate to ask politely to taste their wine.
