The Grand Union Canal links Birmingham to London with a waterway which is 145 miles long and contains 166 locks. This cache is one of a series to be found along or close to the Buckinghamshire stretch of the canal.
This cache is your straight forward 450ml kliplock box, no tricks or sneakiness just designed to get you out and about enjoying the countryside. For those of you who are energetic you could start at (GCTTQB) Grand Union Series Bridge 74 - What a tip! and go onto (GCREPR) Glad to be a Fish? after ending up with a nice pub lunch! At the cache site please take care retrieving and replacing and once you are done spend a few minutes looking behind the cache location at the remains of St.Peters Church.
Thanks go to Alibags for the use of her logo's and allowing this cache to be added to the Grand Union Series and to Tikal for the fantastic photo's.
Update 9th May 2007 Difficulty upgraded due to the DNF's and spoiler updated. Appologies to those who have not been able to find the cache, it wasn't designed to be difficult but seems to be causing a few problems. Please log any DNF's as I may need to move the cache.
