A little buch-whacking required in this under-developed park.
In recent years, a ghostly image has been seen in the woods near the old farm. It is believed to be Crazy Bob, the recluse son of the farm's original owner. He searched the wooded area for his father's hidden fortune when he was alive and continues to wander the surrounding area in his death.
Old man Rutledge spoke of a treasure he had squirreled away, but died in '37 without telling of the location. Since then, Crazy Bob had dug up the foundation of the old house and tore down the barn without finding a thing.
In a freak accident in the middle of the night, Bob severed off his left hand while falling a tree. The hand was never found and neither was the fortune, as Crazy Bob died lonely and poverty-stricken.
It has been said, the ghost of Crazy Bob seeks not the treasure of his father, but the hand lost forever.
