A classic "ammo can in the woods" hidden to recognize the acomplishments of a local caching hero. No longer an ammo can... But stll ammo can sized.
I am honored to be asked to adopt this cache listing. If you have run into Mr. Loci on the hunt you know he is a wonderful fellow. If you have hunted one of his hides you know they are well done, creative, challenging and reflect great respect for the sport of geocaching and a sense of humor too. If he has found one of your hides (i'm sure he has) you know his logs are well written, thoughtful and appreciated.
Mr. Loci and I discussed the need to move this one from its origional hidey-spot to a better location. If you hunted the origional, please feel free to hunt and log this one as well as it is totally new.
I tried hard to find a spot that would reflect Mr. Loci's love for a classic forest hide. I think I have done well in this regard.
Pleas join me in congratulating him on this milestone as well as the fact that at the time of this hide he has surpassed the 5,000 find mark. An inspiration to all.
