Rattlingcrew: I really regret seeing this trend get started in Kansas. As we all know, KDWP has started running an annual Geocaching contest that we have been listing on our website. It was through their placement of the Sand Hills Park cache that they learned of other caches within this park. They have decided that those caches were placed without the park manager's permission and are to be archived. It is a sad day for Geocaching in Kansas if this trend continues across the state.
This unfortunate situation may be partially my fault. Every time I approached KDWP about placing a cache, I was granted permission. Up until this point they have always been very cooperative and supportive of the game.
I would encourage you to contact the park manager and see if you can obtain permission for a cache or two. Glen
