Geocache Description:

The cache is not at this location, see description for clues to actual location

It was buried, and now brought back to the surface, just like the critters in the fossil beds nearby

From the origional cache description
"An ancient seashore laps at your feet."

The coordinates show the best place to park to hunt this cache. The cache is in the willamette river greenway park. To find this cache, you must first find the small dinosaur puzzle that I have left in other local caches. The coordinates will be on one side, the hint on the other. These will be the "Fossil - Dinosaur Puzzle" travel bugs. (the initial ones are TB193A, TB22D4, TB1ED3, TB2328, & TB212C)

Fossil has been moved about a mile down the road to get away from the railroad tracks. But, Fossil is still collosal!

This cache had been archived due to the lack of an owner or finds, and proximity to the RR tracks...but two local cachers "chamois shimi and special k", that cache without using gps technology, found the cache in Feb'06 and passed the remains to me. It was a little smelly, but I dried it out, replaced the container and added some more goodies. But the logs and cache note are the origional from 2001. Like most good fossils, the body is dead and gone, but the skeleton lives on.... (visit link)

The cache is now a Ammo can that is painted camo.
