The event will be held at the Eagles Nest in Peterson Park in
Lakeland. If you are not from Lakeland, you are also invited! The
meet and greet will be held from 9 AM until noon.
Ice will be provided for your cold drinks. Paper plates,
napkins, cups and utensils will be provided as well as some
breakfast foods. If you plan on attending please bring your
favorite breakfast item to share and let us know what it is in your
“will attend” post.
There are plenty of caches in the Lakeland area so after the
meet and greet you will have time to cache. We have everything from
micros to ammo cans to find. If you are up for a hike, check out
the Lakeland Highlands Scrub, Circle B Preserve or Saddle Creek
Park. If you are looking for Park and Grabs, there are several new
caches located around Lakeland.
This will be a TB friendly event, so bring all of those TB’s you
have been holding on to and trade for some new ones. Also, the new
FGA and Florida Landmark coins are in circulation and there should
be a few of them at the event.
