Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache itself is lets say, small to regular and in keeping with location it is stocked with critters. If you
can keep to the theme, great. Please take a moment to step back after re-hiding and ensure it is tucked right in and out of view from the muggle critters...Thank You.
If you entered via 148th trail and the gpsr at one point says it is 26=or so meters south, do not bushwhack. Continue on and there is a trail going left that is the way to get there.
Want a pleasant walk in an urban forest?. A haven for
wildlife, you never know what you will see or hear in
Green Timbers. Large and small it has it all from the
coyotes to the Western Skink I saw recently basking in
the meadow's sun.
Depending on where you enter from, you may see the
lake which is regularly re-stocked with fish from a local
hatchery. Every kind of bird, not simply waterfowl
either lives or pauses here. Turtles, cormorants and Eagles and falcons nest and hunt.
The forest itself is well travelled and a haven on a hot
summer day. Old and new growth, the winds constantly
shift-changes the forest. Pileated Woodpeckers vie
with the groans and creaks of trees rubbing together in
the breezes.
