Micro at the sight of the Springplace misson Church in Chatsworth GA.

8/7/2006 added a hint Some history on the Church:
Was originally an Indian mission built 1830
Mission destroyed by fire 1851
Rebuilt by the Methodists 1875
Frequently used for weddings and other events
Congregation moved to a new church 1976
Murray County Historical Society sponsored restoration
The site is oldest church and public building in use in Murray County
More info about the Missionary's can be found online or at the Chief Vann House just a bit north of this church. I am in the process (as of this edit in Feb of 09) of moveing to Lexington KY, I will be moved there by the end of this month. I am looking for someone to tend to caches we have placed, If intrested in watching some, please drop me a E-mail and I will be glad to hand them off to you.<
