About 6" square Rubbermaid container, less than 20' walk from car, no elevation gain. During certain seasons, this is a very busy place, so stealth may be required. Located in Riverside State Park, so please observe all park rules. Park hours are winter 8:00 am to dusk, and summer 6:30 a.m. to dusk. Dogs are allowed on leash only. The cache is wheelchair-accessible to within a few feet of the cache.
A place of significant historical value, the nearby monument details much of the early history of our beautiful area. This cache originally was filled with items that would have been helpful to the first fur traders, including a White Jeep, a mini-microscope. and trinkets for trading with the native population (or other cachers). Room for trading small items. During certain seasons, this is a busy place, so stealth may be required.
