Each of the little Bucks
wanted to place their own cache, and this one is by
Alicia, who is the littlest Buck.
The original cache she placed is gone, as the nearby business
closed. The bushes it was hidden in were removed, so we had to
find a new place. Hope you like it. (it is not recomended at
night, nearby residents may not understand.)
She loves cats the most, and
wants to adopt them all, but Dad and Mom Buck think 3 pets are
enough. (see profile) She also loves soccer, and is the fastest
player on her team. She is taking Piano lessons, and sometimes gets
uncontrollable giggles.
We used to live near this
area, and would walk along the path and have many adventures. Here
is how we would look at finding this cache:
Start your journey near the bridge. Be
careful near the bridge for there is an evil Torc (a cross between
a Troll and an Orc) who loves to eat humans. Do not go under it,
thats where he is! Follow the path till you meet the Guardian. You
will know him by his red diamond shield. Whisper the password to
him, and he will let you pass. Give the wrong password and he will
try and behead you. The password is the name of the Great Lion. Go
on the trail a little ways and look down in the “river”.
There you will see a huge gold nugget. This was stolen from the
Torc, and now rests in the raging water so that no one can take it.
Don’t even try. Continue on until you come to the edge of the
river. You must cross on the stones, but do not slip or the giant
water snakes will get you. Keep walking up and around, and do not
look in the tree’s or you will see all the eyes watching you.
Phantoms. Keep going, you will see 3 or 4 logs in the grass. Turn
one over, and there will be giant millipedes under there. (really!)
Just make sure to put it back in place so they do not get out and
follow you home. Now, keep going, through the passageway, until you
get to the grassy knoll. Here is where the Knights would battle the
Giants. Over to the left is an ancient Treebeard, who will give you
protection if you rub his bark. Beetles are itchy! Keep walking and
you will see the mounds, created by huge rabid rats. Do not go near
them, for at times there will be flying "two wheeled" demons going
around. You are now getting close to the prize. The trail is faint,
but go up near the secret "portal". Its lid is covered with
overgrowth, but is green from Dragon’s blood. The treasure is
nearby. Make sure you
only use enough space as needed when leaving your mark, or we will
hunt you down and take your “sword”. Congratulations on completing the long
journey. You did it!
So now that you know what awaits you, what are you waiting
for?
