Geocache Description:

The cache is located in Craverns Park about 10 to 15 feet off of a concrete trail. The closest parking is at the Boys and Girls Club of Arlington at the corner of Craverns Park Drive and Matlock. From there it's less than a .1 mile walk to the cache but the first 125 feet or so will not be on concrete. Parking is also availabe at the Craverns Park parking area (N32 39.161 W097 06.671). From there it's a 1/4 mile walk, all on the concrete trail.

Friday the 17th of March is St. Patrick's Day. I'm thinking that a cache with the theme of the day would be in order. I have no idea why I would think that way because being a pure 100 percent Schnauzer of a German descent with no Irish ethnic background, you would think I would hold off celebrating until next Octoberfest day. Well it turns out that the people I live with celebrate every holiday that they can. I asked Hikeaday what St. Patrick's Day was all about and his reply was: "Beer (sometimes green), corn beef and cabbage, wearing a green shirt and Beer (sometimes green)." I was sure there's more to it than that so I looked it up on the internet and here's what I found:

The history of St. Patrick's Day

I've stuck some green stuff in the cache. I don't expect that many cachers have St. Patrick's Day green stuff to trade, so you are welcome to trade whatever you have for the green.

Please do not go through the contents of the container at the cache site. Take the container a couple of hundred feet away to trade swag and do the logging thing. The reason is obvious.
