McMicro Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hotlanta: Went out today to replace this cache container and decided it is just too close to a camping site. This might be the reason I keep have containers MIA. So I hid a new cache today a bit further away, "Burning Pine". Go check it out! Thanks to all that trekked out here and found my cache. Happy Cachin'!

Geocache Description:

McIntosh Reserve Park is a great place to go geocaching. There are about six other great caches in the park right now and hopefully more to come. Check it out at http://www.carrollcountyrec.com/mcintosh_reserve.htm .Or click User's Web Page above.

The micro cache container has been replaced with a small size container. It has not been moved from original location more than a few feet. Please replace with care. Get a map at the gate. You can park where the road ends. From there you can bushwhack your way to the cache, or just follow the road / trail. Please be respectful of the campsites close by if you decide to bushwhack. The cache itself is off the beaten trail a bit to keep it out of reach of muggles, horses, snakes, ticks, briers and furry critters. Ok, maybe it will not help keep off the ticks but lots of bugs spray will. And a walking stick is great for snakes, briers and furry critters. Stealth is what will work for the rest. Have fun!

There is a small parking fee, $2 for Non-Carroll County residents. And other fees if you camp, ride a bike or horse.
