Geocache Description:

Bigger ammo box with lots of room in it for all kinds of stuff.

Going to Flagstaff? Heading to Pheonix? Here's a chance to stop and get out of your car and stretch your legs. There is a parking space near the cache on the East side of the road with a very prominent hill to the West. The cache isn't up there on the tall hill. We were going to hide this cache up there but found out that it was an archeological site so we put it on the hill to the East of the parking spot. The hike up isn't hard but take your time, especially if it's hot. And take some water with you. Enjoy the view from the top of this little hill. You can see into Red Tank Draw and up the Beaver Creek Canyon. Looking south you can see Squaw Peak (the center of the state), Mingus MOuntain to the west, and the Sedona area to the north. There are other caches in the area and other attractions to see. Many reasons to get out of your car and stretch. No need to rush to Phx. or Flag.
