Geocache Description:

The listed coordinates will take you to Roberts Elementary School where there are some tiled columns out front by the sidewalk. Many of these tiles were painted by children attending the school when it was renovated several years ago. This is an interesting example of folk/children’s art and we highly recommend a walk past. The mystery cache is within walking distance of these columns, but is not at the school.

Most people think of alchemists as crackpots or charlatans, who attempted to turn lead into gold. Many alchemists believed that the universe was composed of the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water, and most alchemists spent much of their time concocting miraculous remedies, poisons, and magic potions. However, many alchemists were well-meaning and intelligent scholars, who were simply struggling to make sense of a subject which, as we now know, was far beyond the reach of their tools.

Throughout the history of the discipline, alchemists struggled hard to understand the nature of the principles of chemical and physical states. They struggled to find some order and sense in the results of their chemical experiments, which were often undermined by impure reagents. In spite of those difficulties, alchemists managed to make steady progress in understanding the natural world. We owe the discovery of many important substances and chemical processes to these early 'scientists.'

Your first lesson in alchemy is to convert the following into coordinates for the cache:

N 29 MORHC

W 095 CRYBN

The cache is a camoed plastic bottle that can be reached (almost) without getting out of the car (if you park close enough). Beware of muggles in the area. Inside there is a log and pen and room for some small items.
