A number of cachers who have had “fun” with my puzzle caches have said to me that they wished that I would place another traditional cache. Well, as the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for because it may come true.
The listed coordinates are NOT fake; they are the real coordinates of the cache container. This cache is quite similar to my other “degree confluence” “Lots of Zeros” GCK35Z cache in Piermont, NH. For more information on degree confluences, check: The Degree Confluence Project.
Unfortunately these coordinates are in the middle of nowhere so you will have to plan carefully on how to approach the cache so as to not end up on the wrong side of a stream, swamp, or other obstacle that would block your way after a long bushwhack. Right now it is possible to get this cache without getting wet, this may be a different story in the summer. Also don’t expect to find any trails, except moose trails, in the entire area.
The shortest distance to the cache is about ¾ of a miles with no trails. If you were to go in the same way I did, you would be following about ½ mile of barbed wire fencing so be very careful. The area around the cache may remind people of Camp Nasty with major bugs, swampy sections, unbelievable thorns, and some open water. The cache is setting against the base of a dead tree in the open with a little swamp grass partially covering it.
NOTE: If you start off through open fields thinking this is going to be easy, you've chosen a very bad way to approach the cache. Read the logs of those who have tried that approach. I do not recommend going this way. It might be wise to read and follow the hint
