Geocache Description:

This cache is the third in a series of 12 dedicated to the Boy Scouts of America, with each cache named after one of the 12 points of the Boy Scout Law. It is located along the Boy Scout Trail in Petit Jean State Park. See the cache listing for the first cache in this series, “BSA 1: A Scout is Trustworthy” (GCTXEB), for a description of the Boy Scout Trail.

This cache is located along the trail west of Rock House Cave, near a great view point of the canyon downstream of Cedar Falls. The cache is a camouflaged cylindrical container, slightly smaller than a soup can. It contains a logsheet but no writing utensil. It also has a few small trade items. The cache is not located far from the trail, so bushwhacking is not necessary and please don’t stray off the trail too early. Also, please take care in this area, because one false step could be disastrous, if not fatal!

When you find this cache please take note how it is hidden and replace it back as you found it so those following you may experience the same challenge. The cache is concealed by a few rocks to prevent any muggles passing by from seeing it. Please replace the rocks to conceal the cache.

Please note that the park trails close at dusk, in accordance with state park regulations. Do NOT start your search if you cannot be off the trail by nightfall and do NOT search at night.
