Geocache Description:

A while ago we got the idea to create a cache to commemorate St. Paddy’s Day on March 17th (no we are not Irish, but have Scottish blood!). This cache has been re-worked take you to 3 festive locations before going to a little-known trail in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Note: The posted coordinates will take you to Kennedy's Country Tavern at 1750 Erbs Rd. in St. Agatha. Here you will find your first clue and a libation if you are in the mood for a little starter.

STAGE 1
Aye, isn't this a fine Irish establishment. I wonder what the street address of this place would be and since what date it has been a gathering place for friends. Once these two numbers are known (one is in the short description), one might wish to sit with a pint and a pencil to work things out.
To get the next North coordinate, take the number of the street address, and add 539, divide this value by 1000 and add it to the original coordinates of the cache. This is the north coordinate of your new destination.
To get the next West coordinate, take the date since it has been a gathering place, multiply it by 3 and subtract the lucky number 7. Divide the new value by 1000 and subtract it from the decimal value of the current west coordinate to get your new west destination coordinate.

STAGE 2
This looks like a place to whet my whistle whilst trying to solve a problem.
To get the north coordinates you will be creating a 4 digit number out of some of the letters in the name of the establishment. The first two digits of the number are the numeric equivalent of the third letter of the first word of the name of the establishment. a= 1, b=2 etc. The last 2 digits are the sum of the first, third, fourth and fifth letters of the second word of the establishment's name. Divide this number by 1000 to make it a decimal value and subtract it from your current calculated north coordinates
To get the west coordinates, take the 4 digit value you calculated in the last step, and double it. Divide by 1000 and subtract this value from the west coordinates to get the west coordinates of your next stop.

STAGE 3
This looks like a fine place to get a wee dram to keep me going on this quest
To get the final from here, add the address number near the WIFI sign, and the date of the "harp" overhead and subtract the number of leaves on 11 shamrocks. Divide the result by 1000 and add to the minutes as a decimal to get the final north coordinates
To get the West coordinates, find the date of the harp and add 1300, divide by 1000 and subtract that value from your current west coordinates as a decimal. This will give you the west coordinates for the final.

THE FINAL
If you have the right coordinates you will be on a little used trail on the East edge of Kitchener, hunting for your pot of gold. May the luck of the Irish be with you!
