Located on the Hugoton Airport property with permission, but accessed from the outside. Do not drive inside the fence or on runways or taxiways! The roads to the cache are dirt and are pretty soft at times so be careful not to get stuck.
This geocache replaces the first geocache in Hugoton that I placed in June of 2002 called "Jack Rabbit Gulch". It survived until early in 2004 when it was unfortunately consumed in a grassfire burn that was set to clean off old dead grass. For those who visited "Jack Rabbit Gulch"..this cache is not located in the same area as the first one was.
