Le Fort de Peccais construit dès 1598,
place royale et militaire,aujourd'hui complètement délaissée, assurant à l'époque un contrôle permanent sur les salines voisines et les canaux
servant au transport du sel.

Un site à découvrir situé au coeur de la petite camargue à une dizaine de kilomètres au sud d'Aigues-mortes.
Offrant une vue dominante, dans cette région pauvre en relief.

The Fort of Peccais built since 1598, royal and military place, 
today completely forsaken, 
ensuring at the time a permanent control on the saltworks close and the channels being used for transport to salt. 

A site to be discovered located at the heart of the small Camargue to ten kilometers in the south Aigues-Mortes.
Offering a dominant sight, in this area low in relief.
