Geocache Description:

Wonderful walk around a lake in beautiful, historic Lansing ~ Lost 80 Park. Hidden in the seclusion of the many isolated deer trails.

Cache is located at Lost 80 Park. Our aim with placing the cache here is -- it's an ideal location, a beautiful park with playground, lake, tennis courts and picnic area. Rest rooms (in summer) and shelter (year round) are on premesis. Bring a picnic lunch -- great place to sit and think.

Please take a garbage bag with you and practice CITO while you're here. The city really supports caching because we leave the parks in better shape than we find them.

PARKING: Please do not park on the grass and roadways. Only park at the parking area adjacent to the playground area at WP: N: 39 14.645 W: 094 52.940. Cache is due south of this location.

NOTE: Park is open year round and the city has given permission for this cache placement. The park is open from sun up to sun down. The only time the gate is closed is when there is danger of thin ice -- so plan your trip accordingly. If you go into the woods deep enough you will hit some barbed wire fencing. Do not cross any fences. The cache is located inside the park, you will not have to cross any fences.
