Are you a Night Owl? In the morning . . . .
They usually rely on an alarm clock and then.......they hit
the snooze button, hit the snooze button, hit the snooze button.
Eventually, they drag out of bed and get a cup of coffee. The
time of day that they are most alert and energetic is ..LATE
EVENING! These are your typical
night
owls
, coming out at night to hunt and catching up on their sleep during
the day. They find their caches using their talons or with their
sharp beaks. These owls keep a nest were they have placed a cache
well hidden and camouflaged.
These night owls are migratory they will travel a great distance to
seek a cache. Normal habitat is in the edges of wooded areas where
they can fly silently at night over fields, streams, ponds and
orchards, finding their next cache. However, they are very
adaptable within town and cities and have wonderful urban cammo. If
you are lucky, you could see a Night owl caching about 2:00am
in the glow of a street light.
In other words my parents
never go to bed before 2:00 am. If they are busy putting caches
together, they stay up until 4:00 or 5:00 am. OK...THEY NEVER
SLEEP!!! This cache is a tribute to NIGHOWLS01 THE BEST GEOCACHING
PARENTS IN THE WORLD. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD FOR GIVING ME ALL THE
