This is part of a series of caches dedicated to the former Presidents of the United States of America.
This cache is in honor of Gerald Ford, 38th President. Ford was the guy who wasn't actually elected as President. Truth be known, I'm really too young to remember his presidency -- I was a toddler. As popular culture shapes my memory of him, I see Chevy Chase falling down a flight of stairs...
This cache is hidden in yet another Durham Park. Follow trail along river for a short hike. The cache is about 50-75 yards off trail in a beautiful (dare I say enchanted?) pine/cedar forest. There are some phenomenal Goldsworthyesque formations of vines, pine straw, dead cedars and fallen branches. Take a look around.
You are looking for a small gree military container. Not hidden in a typical location.
