Another Gungahlin cache of moderate difficulty (take care over your calculations) that lets you experience some of Canberra's great views.
If you are attempting this cache find on foot, keep hydrated, and make sure you slip, slop, slap. It should take approximately 15 minutes on foot from the starting coordinate. It is also bike friendly, but I recommend a Mountain Bike for ease of riding on the trails.
Hmmmm…but it may take longer depending on how you tackle it.
Starting coordinates
At WP1 (the starting coordinate), a bent and jaded Warsaw native will show you two sets of 3 digit numbers. Note the larger number. The first digit = F, the second digit = U and the third digit = N.
Cache
To obtain the new South coordinate, perform the following calculation and add the result to the starting South coordinate:
(F*U) + U + N – F
To obtain the new East coordinate, solve this cryptic calculation and subtract the result from the starting East coordinate:
Add half the F*U*N to the common ground with April and November.
Now you need to decide which path to take!
Look to the South West. Bikers may enjoy the journey through the gate and beyond. Pass through it to its right.
On the other hand, bikers and walkers may prefer to stay on a path, but keep the wet stuff to your right.
If you have a timepiece, see how long it takes you to get from the old Warsaw guy to the cache. See if you can beat the record and log your time, or you may prefer to take it leisurely and enjoy the scenery. Its up to you of course.
Please return the cache to its home as you found it and enjoy the scenery.
