This cache is less than a mile off Hwy 97 a short hike from Miltary Pass Rd. There is parking near a Forest Service signboard. Local Paragliders flying from Whaleback Mtn land near here, so if you see a large wing pass overhead that is not a bird or a plane! Think like a Geocacher and the location will rise before your eyes. Sagebrush and stickers will need to be navigated. Excellent view of Shasta & Whaleback Mountain. Enjoy!
This is a standard Ammo container with a geocache sticker on one side. It is well hidden and a thorough search may be required. Be careful of the Rocks, some are not stable. This is my first cache and I want to try and step up the quality from some of the caches I have seen lately. Contents are:
