Johnnys Meadow Cache - Part of EastRiver series
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions

Whilst out caching with a good friend, a local of this area, we
decided to place this cache and see if the adventurers will come.
The location is along a power line, off the 103 highway, very near
Exit 7 at Chester NS. There is off hi-way parking (a short side
road) located at N 44.35.873 W064.09.671. Parking is approx 475M
from the cache. Be sure not to block someone else in.
Note:The terrain can be somewhat difficult (rocky) for pets and
young ones as the trail through the power line soon disappears and
you will have to pick and choose your way down the line, sometimes
stepping from rock to rock. Once you arrive at the cache, looking
to the west across the meadow towards the highest point, you can
see Labrador Castle. There is another cache waiting for you over
there, but I wouldn't try bushwacking from here. However, the next
closest cache "Beyond Johnnys Meadow" awaits you just a bit further
up this power line. You might as well go for it... The FTF prize is
Surprise #3. That may (or may not) tell you who my friend is. He
also tells me that there are some nice 8 inch trout waiting to be
caught in the still waters of the river (Little East River) that
runs through Johnnys Meadow. Be careful, have a great day and a
good hike!
