again and it can only mean one thing...
ITS ONCE AGAIN TIME FOR

This year we are descending upon the Derbyshire countryside to
enjoy the finer things in life, which are eating, drinking,
socialising and of course caching!! Our base will be near the town
of Bakewell (the event is NOT being held at the above co-ords - its
just to give a rough area of where we will be camping) and the
actual event is on from:
Saturday 10th June - Sunday 11th June
2006
However most people will be pitching up from Friday 9th June
2006, and a few mad souls (ourselves included) are hoping to be
there from the Wednesday (7th June).
There are approximately 50+ caches within a 10 mile proximity of
the camping site, which will hopefully allow everyone to find a few
caches during their time in Derbyshire!
This year Carry on Camping is all about camping therefore no
caravans are allowed on site - sorry!! There is a camping barn
available. The camping barn will be used as a back up meeting place
if the heavens open for the whole weekend (fingers crossed we only
get sunshine). There are also 3 B&B rooms (containing double
beds). One has been initially booked however there are two rooms
still available. Please email us for further details - although it
will be assigned on a first come first served basis. As advised in
the forums all the camping spaces have been taken - however a
reserve list is running and therefore if anyone drops out of the
event the reserve list will come into play.

An email will be sent to the teams/individuals attending
confirming the cost of the camping and also more details about the
actual location of the campsite. Information will be sent to those
on the reserve list about possible nearby campsites to use
instead.
