I placed a new magnetic "nano" cache with a screw top having a tiny
roll of paper to serve as a log. It is placed at the original
location of this cache. It is very close to the building and you
should be able to avoid muggles.
The 2nd edition of micro-cache here seems to have gone
missing as well, primarily due to new constructions nearby. A very
kind geocacher, volunteered to replace the cache and it is now at a
different cooridinate. It is now a micro cache (film canister). I
will update the modified coordinates for the cache. The coordinates
for the location of the micro-cache is N12 58.447 E077
35.431.
Bangalore was known as the "Garden City" well before the current
status as the silicon valley of India. With the growing population
of Indian cities, it is one of the cities that still has large
gardens/parks which are the lungs of this fast growing city. Having
lived in Bangalore for 23 years before migrating out, I still have
very fond memories of this city, the nicest people, the cleanest
Indian city, temperate climate, great food....the list goes on.
Having seen the first two caches vandalized last year, I have
decided to put micro-caches (which hopefully will stay). I have
chosen the theme of Garden City and so all the caches in this
series will be located in the gardens/parks of Bangalore.
This is the 2nd in the Garden City cache series. This too is a
micro-cache (my apologies to those who prefer larger caches) and is
well hidden. The place may not have too geo-muggles around and so
searching could be less noticeable. You can spend all day enjoying
the beautiful surroundings of this area and then spend a short time
to find the cache.
This being a micro-cache, please bring along your pen/pencil to
log the cache.
Small note on cache maintenance: I visit the area
3 times a year, and have relatives who were with me when the cache
was placed. Maintenance should not be a problem.
