The original Anaheim colonists planted a willow fence around the town to keep cattle from eating the grape vines. There were four gates to allow people to come and go. This cache is at the approximate location of the South Gate, sometimes called the San Diego Gate. Log only, bring your own pen. The pictures below are of the San Pedro Gate park that is a recreation of the original gates. If you want to see a replica of the gates go to GC27MK0, San Pedro Gate.
