sloigo: Last yeat TWO Rattlesnakes were guarding the cache. It has been muggled and I am NOT going to replace it because of the danger to the Geocachers. I was positive that I had already done this months ago. Sorry, the danger is too great.

a Costco Nut jar cleverly disquised at a good drop off point. The first cache finally went MIA after a year.
Back in the 60's and before, this intersectoni was a "Y", one leg lead to Edison and Bakersfield, The other leg went down a harrowing road and ended at Arvin. I was told that is how Arvin got started, OKies taking the wrong leg of the "Y", running out of gas and coasting down the hill very rapidly arriving at Arvin. Nope I have tried this several times and you cost to a stop far before you get to the city limits.
