Geocache Description:

Ammo box found in a relatively unknown and not heavily visited park. About 2/3 of a mile roundtrip hike to the cache and back. Make sure to get ENTER co-ordinates from website (below).

I must have passed by this park a hundred times over the years but never stopped to walk through it until I placed this cache. Hopefully this cache will cause you to discover a park you never knew was there!

The terrain can be slippery, especially in winter, so please be very careful when you find the final cache location. You can walk on well defined paths for most of the hike, but the last several hundred feet are difficult.

This originally was a private cache but it is now a public one. Thanks to Finders'_5 (and hence the cache name) for giving me the original cache!

Bonus points:
1) Look for the ancient beach
2) Find out the well known DC group that use to perform here
3) Can you guess the name of the nearby small river???
