Please join us for the annual area "give-back" event.
This year we have selected an area and project in Springfield. We
are partnering with the City of Springfield to work on the
restoration of the East Gate Woodlands.
This area has a significant infestation of non-natural ivy, and
there are regular volunteer work parties the first and 3rd Saturday
of each month. This event is being planned specially for us.
Join us at 8:30 am on April 22nd for socializing and instructions,
with the actual work being done between 9:00 am and noon.
Refreshments will be available when we are done.
Bring gloves, loppers, and pruners if you have them. The City folks
will supply lots of gloves and tools for those who forget.
This IS a rain or shine event - so dress appropriately.
There are presently a number of caches in the area. And, if history
holds true, more will be placed prior to the event. (WE ENCOURAGE
THIS BTW)
Bring WATER, smiles, stories, TB's, and laughter.
