About half a mile up a steep public footpath, 4x4s could make it but they're not allowed so it's Shank's pony I'm afraid.
Limited parking is available at N53 34.605 W002 44.554 which will add about another 1/4 mile onto the walk.
Although it is a country lane tractors have been witnessed to whizz by so be aware.
The cache is a small/medium sized butty box painted in camouflage colours, not that that will help 'cos it's covered over so it may as well be sky blue pink for all it matters.
Inside the box is a Scottish geocoin, please feel free to log the coin as a find but kindly leave it behind for others to do the same, if you take it lots of nasty little gremlins will follow you home and pee through your letter box.
When retrieving the cache watch out for sharp wire! There is no need to cross any fences, worry sheep etc.
The co-ords appeared spot on at the time but looking at it since they may be slightly out, if so please let me know, ta.
